Meet our Creator, Potter and Legacy Maker, Jenna Thompson.

Hi! I’m Jenna, a Brisbane-based potter with a deep passion for creating meaningful art that honors the lives of those we've lost. As a wife, mother to two beloved fur children, and a bereaved daughter, my journey in pottery has been shaped by both joy and sorrow.

In 2020, I lost my mum—an incredible potter herself—to cancer. Her passing sparked a profound curiosity in me about death, legacy, and how we, as a society, process loss. I began exploring the ways we commemorate our loved ones, specifically focusing on the choices we have in Australia for cremation ashes.

What started as a personal quest to understand has now become my purpose: I craft beautiful, bespoke vessels designed to hold and honour the memories of those we cherish. Each piece I create incorporates a small portion of your loved one's ashes, transforming from grey to vibrant colour with the magic of my custom glazes. These legacy pieces serve as timeless treasures—intimate works of art that allow your family to carry a part of your loved one forward, forever.

Through my pottery, I aim to offer a meaningful way to celebrate life and the enduring love we hold for those who have passed. My creations are not just vessels; they are stories, memories, and legacies—made to be cherished for generations to come.
